Scott Homan, BS ’66, and Christine Homan, BSBA ’71, have established a $50,000 Centennial Young Alumni Challenge to encourage increased support for the Dean’s Annual Fund for Excellence in the Brown School.
The Annual Fund provides essential resources for scholarships and academic programs that help Brown School students prepare for rewarding careers in social work, public health, and social policy. It also helps pave the way for the next 100 years of innovative research and experiential learning that has made it one of the top schools in the country. All Brown School students benefit from the Homan Family Centennial Challenge.
How the challenge works
- The challenge will match all gifts to the Dean’s Annual Fund for Excellence from Brown School alumni who graduated from 2014 through 2024.
- It provides a 2-to-1 match for gifts from $1 to $499.
- Gifts $500 or more will be matched 3-to-1.
Your gift | Match provides | |
---|---|---|
Young alumni gift of $1 to $499 | $1 | $2 |
Young alumni gift of $500 or more | $1 | $3 |

As a token of appreciation, you will receive a pair of Brown School centennial socks when you accept the Homan Family Centennial Challenge.
It is our hope to pass on the legacy of giving, service, and empowering those in need to our three children, as well as others. We are passionate about using our God-given blessings to give hope — and a future — to the disadvantaged.
