Amplify your impact on the lives of Brown School students

Susan Warshaw, MSW ’79, and Trustee Henry Warshaw, AB ’76, MBA ’79, have established a $100,000 Catalyst Challenge to amplify donor impact and help establish new annual scholarships at the Brown School.

An annual scholarship is a profoundly meaningful way to give a hand up to hardworking, ambitious students — and the communities and organizations they go on to serve. Your scholarship provides immediate financial support to first-year Brown School students as part of their admitted financial aid package, which can often make a difference in their decision to attend. Annual scholarships reduce the barrier to a premier WashU education.

As the Brown School celebrates its centennial anniversary and prepares for the next 100 years of making a difference, an annual scholarship in your name will support the goal of becoming a tuition-free program and allow students to pursue their passions.

How the challenge works

  • The Warshaw Catalyst Challenge will provide funds to help your gift of $5,000 or more reach the minimum threshold of $10,000 to establish a new named annual scholarship at the Brown School. Take advantage of this extraordinary giving challenge before these challenge funds run out!

Henry and Susan Warshaw

We are so pleased to support the Brown School as it celebrates its centennial year. The Brown School is close to our hearts: Susan received a Master of Social Work there in 1979 and our daughter earned both her Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health in 2018. As a family, we are passionate about the mission of the school, and we are proud to be able to support scholarships at the Brown School that help students access a world-class education.
