Providing modern learners with tailored support
As working adults with bold dreams and promising futures, CAPS students balance rigorous educational pursuits with significant personal and professional responsibilities. Optimizing them for success requires supporting them through specialized student services tailored to their unique needs and experiences.
The CAPS Annual Fund helps provide school-specific programming and faculty resources not available elsewhere at WashU. From skills coaching to group tutoring, mid-career professional development to customized faculty training, CAPS provides guidance, assistance, and experiences outside the classroom that help students reach their academic and professional goals.
To bolster these efforts, Valerie Davisson, MA ’89, has established a $125,000 challenge to encourage contributions to the CAPS Annual Fund.
How the challenge works
- The CAPS Annual Fund Challenge will match, dollar for dollar, every gift to the school’s Annual Fund. New, increased, and multiyear commitments will receive a 2-to-1 match.
Your gift | Match provides | |
---|---|---|
Renewed gift | $1 | $1 |
New, increased, or multiyear gift | $1 | $2 |
Supporting the CAPS Annual Fund is not just about giving back; it’s about helping to create opportunities for determined adults to transform their lives through education. Together, we can ensure every dedicated learner has access to the resources and guidance they need to persevere.
